In mid 2008 a commercial scale Aegir Dynamo power take-off module was manufactured that is rated a 100kW. It was however fitted with a 45kW permanent magnet alternator for testing purposes.

This proved that the Aegir Dynamo could be quickly manufactured and assembled to Ocean Navitas' specifications at a viable cost.

The picture below shows the fully manufactured unit rated at 100kW. It measures only 900x500x600mm and weighs less than 1 tonne in this format.
