 Deep Water Affixed Deployment
Design
The design of the Aegir Dynamo is versatile enough to be affixed to any stable structure at sea.
A good example of this would be an oil/gas rig platform leg. Not only would this supply the rig with the power required to run it (normally generated by diesel generators), but if enough Aegir Dynamo's are attached excess power can be transferred back to shore.
Another suitable location for an affixed Aegir Dynamo would be to the base of an offshore wind turbine. As wave power is available 80% of the time compared with the 30% availability of wind this would improve the efficiency and availability of power from these structures.
